Lo-fi melodious indie rock perfect for any season
Perfect Future may only have this, their self titled debut under their belt thus far, but it’s easy to tell already that they are great at what they do. Their melody filled, fuzzy guitar driven rock is full of subtlety and wonder that would fit any season you wish to listen to it in. Whether it be the first sunshine of spring, the hazy summer nights, the falling leaves of autumn or the harsh cold of winter, put ‘Perfect Future’ on in your headphones and just walk. You’ll be left with the content feeling that only something so intoxicatingly intimate can give.
From the haunting xylophone on ‘From Me to You’ to the achingly gorgeous ‘Gerald said, “I Believe in Redemption”ť’, ‘Perfect Future’ is a brilliant example of mixing pure honesty with the many voices of the guitar and it working 100% of the time. And although you may listen and thoroughly enjoy what you hear, this may be an album that you forget about quite quickly. However, when you come back to it months later, you’ll realise just how good it is, and give it a fair few spins after that.
