Now put a guitar in front of her, dress her like a rockabilly girl and enjoy!
Katy Perry sounds uncannily like Avril Lavigne with a sexier huskier and more game twist. You can imagine her drinking you under the table, before jumping up on the same table and dancing – whilst losing clothes a piece at a time to the sound of rock music.
This album is full of stupidly catchy pop music with a rock twist, sung by a girl who sounds like butter wouldn’t melt… and looks like she wants to jump your bones as soon as say hello to you.
It is a simple, none-to-challenging mix of pop, punk and rock that is topped off with brilliant lyrics and stories that are a revealing insight into the inner thoughts of the – it has to be said – scorching hot Miss Perry.
If Pink and Avril and Fergie can make millions and become stupidly famous for their autobiographical songs of growing up, love and loss… I am positive Katy Perry has a very happy bank manager – because her songs of being ‘Just one of the guys…’ and how she ‘Kissed a girl and liked it’ will soon make her very, very, very rich.
Fair play. This is am ace album… and made me smile from ear to ear.
Girls who are drip-fed plastic pop crap and think Fallout Boy are the ‘hotness’ will soon fall in love with Katy Perry, and I can sit back and say:
Told you so.
She’ll be huge.
