Formed in 1996, Morser are one of Germanys best underground extreme metal acts. Fusing their old-skool groove-laden death metal with a fresh technicality and ferocious grind sections means Morser have produced one of the most down-to-earth and real albums I’ve heard in a while.
Always sticking true to their roots, and innately German in precision, this release makes no compromises… with the eruption of new-skool death metal in Europe it is refreshing to hear a band which is as raw as Morser who exceed expectations in musicianship. There is nothing here which screams conceited or fake, just honest music from honest guys and although Morser aren’t going to revolutionize extreme metal or make a dent in the scene, it’s a release well worth checking out.
