The legendary fathers of grind core Napalm Death return with their 14th studio album ‘Time Waits For No Slave’. following on from their 2006 album ‘Smear Campaign’ ‘Time Waits For No Slave’ is another brutal in your face Napalm Death album. Meeting all the criteria any fan would set for the new album Napalm Death certainly aren’t slacking in their 27 year career. Although the concept of the album is based around slavery still being existent within the modern day society, Time Waits For No Slave sees Napalm Death tackling these issues in their usual controversial hardcore way.
With tracks like ‘Diktat’ and the album title track ‘Time Waits For No Slave’ re-enforcing the concept of not conforming to societies demands. Combining Napalm Deaths usual blunt finishes that leaves the listener wanting more with neck breaking riffs that make this another brutally brilliant album. Their 2006 album ‘Smear Campaign’ was a hard album for the band to follow as it’s difficult to believe Napalm Death could get any better than that, even though the new album takes a slightly different route it is still an amazing album all the same.
Overall Time Waits For No Slave is certainly not an album that will collect dust on your shelve, it will definitely always make an appearance in your cd player but probably not advisable in your car unless you wanted to smack your head on the rear view mirror in an uncontrollable head bang moment at the traffic lights……..
