A Brand New Multi-Venue Music Festival Enters The Mix
Although the summer festival season is slowly winding down there are still a couple of weekends remaining to take full advantage of new music and the party atmosphere.
Twisterella Festival is set-up for exactly this purpose. “We’re bringing the very best breaking bands to Middlesbrough for Twisterella and we’re confident your new favourite band will be among them,” said Festival Co-director Henry Carden. “This is a great opportunity to get ahead of the curve and see some of 2015’s biggest acts in 2014.”
The festival takes place across five venues in the Southfield Road/Linthorpe Road area of Middlesbrough on Saturday 11th October 2014 and is the creation of independent music promoters, The Kids Are Solid Gold and Pay for the Piano.
The 1,000 capacity festival features stages at well-established music venues such as Teesside University Students’ Union, The Keys, Westgarth Social Club and Liberty’s, with an acoustic stage in TSOne. The line-up showcases over forty of the brightest and best breaking bands from all over the UK, as well as Spain and the USA.
The latest additions to the line-up include rising Geordie indie band Lisbon and Scottish heroes Fatherson, who were one of the standout performers at this summer’s T In The Park. They join hotly tipped acts including Radio 1 favourites Eliza and the Bear, Leeds & Reading BBC Introducing stage headliners Prides and local stars Cattle and Cane.

The promoters involved in Twisterella both have a long history of bringing breaking acts to the region, having previously secured Middlesbrough shows from the likes of Mumford & Sons, The Vaccines, The 1975, Palma Violets and many more earlier in their careers.
Tickets for Twisterella are on sale now (£15 in adv + bf) and are available online from www.seetickets.com/go/twisterella and locally from The Olde Young Teahouse, Sticky Fingers, Middlesbrough Town Hall Box Office and The Westgarth Social Club. Twisterella is an 18+ event.Visit:
