Louis Giannamore is best known as a composer and percussionist, having played with the likes of Gang of Youths and Loathe; Buskers is the first single from his forthcoming album, World Tour, which he recorded during 2022 while working round the world as a session musician.

Buskers is a smorgasbord of found sounds; part of the fun of listening to it is identifying the sources - is that a seagull? Ice tinkling in a glass? Police sirens? Reflecting Giannamore's background as a percussionist, the track is led by a driving beat, layered with sounds of the everyday in a way you've never heard them before. It's a very different way of thinking about music - literally anything can be music! So takes a little open-mindedness, but it's also cinematic, clever and rich. Give it a try.
