Dark indie from South London...

SUBBA-CULTCHA.COM SAYS: "Filthy Boy are a young 4-piece indie band hailing from South London who combine poppy melodies reminiscent of Franz Ferdinand with dark humored lyrics that live up to their name, but are disguised by the softness in which they are sung. Comprised of singer and front man Paraic Morrissey, his twin brother Michael on bass, guitarist Harry Weskin and drummer Ed Bernez, the band released their quintessentially British debut album ‘Smile That Won’t Go Down’ in April 2013 where the Morrissey brothers proved to be capable of writing clever and mature stories laced with romance and intrigue, despite their young age. Filthy Boy are fresh from a hugely successful UK and European support tour with King Krule and a packed out show at London's The Lexington in December. The band have announced a string of UK dates for this January and February, which see them start at Manchester’s The Castle on 27
th January and ends at a free London show at The Ivy House in Nunhead on 7
th February  (see below for full dates). Watch their video for ‘In The Name Of’ below, and keep checking back for an interview."
